Welcome!
We'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you, as prospective parents, to our website. We understand that your children are very precious to you and choosing a school is one of the hardest decisions to make at the start of their educational journey.
We hope that the website has provided you with a wealth of information, you will also see on our home page, a video tour of our school which we hope you enjoy.
If your child is starting school in September 2026 (born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022), you will need to apply via Surrey County Council, the quickest and easiest way to apply for a school place is online by visiting surreycc.gov.uk/admissions to access the application form and further information on the application process and admission arrangements for Surrey schools.
The window for applications are from Monday 3rd November 2025 with a deadline to Surrey County Council of Thursday 15th January 2026.
In April 2026 you will receive communication from Surrey County Council with the outcome of your application, you will need to accept / decline your offer of a school place online.
To assist you with making your decision in schools, we are able to offer several tours of West Byfleet Infant school. If you would like to book onto a session, please email the Office Team - office@wbis.org.uk with the following information:
- Full Name/s of who will be attending (Max. 2 adults - NO children)
- Name of child
- Date of Birth of child
- Contact Telephone
