At West Byfleet Infant School we believe in success for all pupils and provide an inclusive setting where every child feels valued, safe and happy. We ensure all pupils at our school have a holistic experience that develops the 'whole child'. Our environment and curriculum provision allows children to succeed. All children are accepted into a school community where differences in ability, aptitude and level of skills is celebrated.

SEND APPROACH
At West Byfleet Infant School we expect all pupils to make expected or accelerated progress based on their individual starting points - we achieve this by:
- Individual Support Plans (ISPs) with targets identified and strategies planned based on individual needs
- High Quality Teaching for all pupils
- A graduated response to support for pupils
- Rigorous pupil progress meetings
- Termly SEN Planning and Evaluation meetings
- Collaborative working with outside agencies
- Child Centered approach
