Co-opted Governor
West Byfleet Infant School are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join the school’s Governing Board as Co-Opted Governors.
Our Governing Body is made up of volunteers from a range of different backgrounds, skills and experience, who work together for the benefit of the School. The Governing Board operates at a strategic level and is not involved in the day-to-day running of the school. We are responsible for both the conduct of the school and for the promotion of high standards.
We are actively seeking applications from individuals with experience in:
- Finance (Accountant, Finance Manager etc)
- Education
- HR, wellbeing, strategic management
- Safeguarding
- Transition
- Other Board or Governance role
We encourage applications from all members of society, regardless of background, gender, ethnicity, disability or age (as long as you're over 18).
