Late/Absence Procedures
Children arriving at school after 9.00 am will be marked late in the register. It is essential that children arrive on time for school or they will miss vital learning activities described below.
Please inform the school if your child is away by telephoning the office before 9am - 01932 343260 option 1. Please note if your child has been physically sick or suffered from diarrhea, then there is a 48 hour exclusion policy from the last time they were sick.
The national target for attendance is 96%. Please do not take holiday during term time and try to keep your child in school as much as possible wherever possible. Research shows that missing 10 percent of the school, or about 18 days a year, negatively affects a student's academic performance, attitude and behaviour.
