    Why is Attendance important?

    The National Target for attendance is 96%.

    We are very proud of our current attendance figures and strive to be above this target throughout the academic year.

    Regular and punctual attendance is important because it: 

    1. Supports learning
    2. Helps children keep up with their work
    3. Helps children achieve better results
    4. Helps children develop friendships and social skills

    In August 2024, new guidance became statutory across the country to help schools remove barriers to attendance.

    Please refer to our Attendance Policy for detailed information on changes and new guidelines.

    Request for Absence Form

    This form should be used to request a special leave of absence during term-time. Please ensure you included as much detail as possible to ensure that the request can be considered. All requests will be considered on an individual basis by the Headteacher.
