We strive to ensure that all children experience a positive enjoyment for Reading experiences inside and outside of the classroom.

We believe that pupils have the 'tools' to demonstrate, model and share their passion and reading skills with others and want to ensure they have time to explore books with others in a relaxed environment.

Year 2 children take on the role of 'Reading Champions' and lead the running of the Reading Shed at lunchtimes whilst also supporting younger pupils with selecting and exploring books.
