  • School Council

Our School Council plays a key role in representing pupil voice and helping to shape the life of our school. Made up of elected representatives from each class, the School Council gives children the opportunity to share their ideas, express opinions, and take an active role in making positive changes. They act as role models and leaders, working together to ensure that every pupil feels heard and valued.

The School Council meets regularly to discuss important issues, gather feedback from their peers, and plan initiatives that support the school’s values and goals. Their responsibilities may include organising events, supporting charity work, promoting healthy lifestyles, and leading on projects such as improving playtimes or promoting sustainability.

By giving pupils a structured way to contribute to school life, the School Council helps build confidence, responsibility, and a sense of belonging—empowering children to make a meaningful difference in their school community.

We welcome and value the input of our whole school community in shaping the work of our School Council. If you have any ideas, suggestions, or feedback that you think could help improve school life, we would love to hear from you! Whether it’s a new initiative, a fundraising idea, or something that could make our school an even better place to learn and grow, your voice matters.

Please feel free to get in touch via the school office, speak to Mrs Dixon, or share your thoughts with a School Council leader.

Working together, we can turn great ideas into real change. Let’s continue building a school where every voice is heard and every idea has the power to make a difference.
