Our Learning Journey this week....
What a fantastic final week we have had in Reception! The Bumblebees, Grasshoppers and Butterflies have enjoyed a week full of fun, laughter and special memories as we celebrated the end of an incredible year together.
The children threw themselves into a range of exciting activities, including outdoor games, water play, creative projects and class celebrations. It has been wonderful to reflect on how much every child has grown in confidence, independence and resilience since September. From learning to read and write to developing friendships, problem-solving skills and a love of learning, the progress the children have made has been truly remarkable.
Our Bumblebees have buzzed so bright,
Learning and growing with pure delight.
Our Grasshoppers have leapt so high,
Reaching for dreams up in the sky.
Our Butterflies have spread their wings,
Ready to soar and try new things.
Together we've laughed, explored and played,
And precious memories have been made.
We've painted, counted, read and sung,
Made new friends and had lots of fun.
You've shown resilience, kindness too,
And we're so very proud of you.
As you head off to Year One now,
We know you'll shine and show us how.
Keep being curious, brave and kind,
And let your wonderful talents shine.
So here's a cheer from all the team,
For every child and every dream.
We'll miss your smiles each day, it's true,
But we'll always remember each one of you.
We are so proud of each and every child for their enthusiasm, kindness and determination throughout the year. They have embraced every challenge with a smile and have made Reception such a happy and vibrant place to learn.
As our children prepare for their exciting move to Year 1, we would like to thank all our families for their continued support and partnership. It has been a privilege to be part of your child's journey, and we know they will continue to shine as they take their next steps.
We wish all our Bumblebees, Grasshoppers and Butterflies a wonderful summer break and every success in Year 1. We will miss them very much!
